Sales Terms and Conditions 

1. Custom Orders
All custom furniture pieces are made to order. Please allow a minimum lead time of 4 months for production.

2. Deposits and Balance Payments
To initiate your custom order and secure your delivery timeframe, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost is required. Making the deposit payment is acceptance of the details discussed and displayed on the invoice.

The remaining balance is due upon completion of the furniture before delivery or pickup. Le Serve will not deliver completed products until full payment has been received. 

3. Payment Methods
We accept bank transfer and credit card payments online. Credit card payment have a small surcharge. All payments must be completed in full before the delivery of the final product.

4. Furniture Design

Colour Variation

Timber 
Due to the natural characteristics of timber, colour variations and imperfections are expected and celebrated. Each timber piece is planed, sanded, coated and polished.

We provide samples upon request, but please note that actual products may differ slightly in hue and grain. No refund or exchange is offered for variances in timber grain or colour. Making payment of your invoice is agreement that you have approved the timber selection. 

Microcement and Stonewash
Customers will have the opportunity to approve colour selections before production begins. This may be approved online through viewing imagery, or by visiting our workshop to view in person. Making payment of your invoice is agreement that you have approved the colour. 

Colour matching 

Le Serve does not colour match to other materials, including but not limited to solid timber, laminate, melamine, stone and porcelain. 

While we can endeavour to get close in colour other timber or paint colours if provided, we cannot guarantee this will be a 100% match, especially if matching laminate/veneer to our solid hardwood pieces. 

No change of mind refund is honoured on the basis of colour matching. 

Custom Colour Waiver

All custom-colour pieces require the purchaser to sign a colour waiver prior to delivery. This is to make sure You are aware that the colour of the piece may look different to how you perceive this to look, due to variations in natural products and due to differences in lighting. 

Timber Sizing

While timber pieces are ordered and made to the size of your table as requested, we plane down each timber piece to ensure these are even and smooth on every size. This means your finished piece may have a slightly smaller discretionary size and is considered normal within the woodworking space. 

5. Cancellations and Refunds
Once a custom order is confirmed and the deposit is received, cancellations are not accepted. In the unlikely event of a defect, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order for a resolution.

6. Delivery and Pickup
Delivery options are available for south east Queensland residents only. We may agree to delivery furniture items outside of this region, which will incur an additional delivery cost.

Customers can also choose to pick up their orders from our location. Please arrange pickup times in advance.

7. Warranty
We offer a 3 year structural warranty on our furniture against manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear. 

For all furniture pieces, using heat over 60 degrees can burn the furniture and your warranty will be voided for any heat marks. 

8. Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of the product. We are not responsible for any indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use of our furniture once installed.
