Le Serve Shipping Policy
1. Overview
At Le Serve, every piece of furniture is custom made with care and attention to detail. We take pride in ensuring your order arrives safely and efficiently. This Shipping Policy outlines how we deliver within South East Queensland and to other areas along the East Coast of Australia.
2. Local Delivery (South East Queensland)
For customers located in South East QLD, including Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and select surrounding regions, we provide personal delivery by the Le Serve team.
Delivery Scheduling: Once your order is complete, our team will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date and time.
Delivery Fee: Delivery cost is a flat rate of $250 for a single item or set, however this may change at Le Serve's discretion. For multiple pieces, a customised quote will be sent.
Handling: Our team will deliver your furniture directly to your chosen room (where access allows) and ensure it’s safely set up.
Assembly: Our team will assemble this on site. We ensure all furniture pieces are level and secure in place. For all joinery items these will be screwed to walls/floors.
3. Regional & Interstate Delivery (QLD, NSW, VIC, SA)
For customers outside South East Queensland, we partner with reliable external transport companies that specialise in furniture freight.
Coverage: Deliveries available to most locations along the East Coast, including metro areas in NSW, ACT, and VIC + SA.
Delivery Fees: Calculated based on item size, weight, and location. We’ll provide a shipping quote prior to deposit payment, and this will be confirmed prior to delivery.
Timeframes: Delivery times vary depending on the courier’s schedule and destination. Typically, allow 1-2 weeks for delivery after dispatch.
Assembly: External transporters include white glove delivery & installation, and will assemble your furniture pieces on site.
Insurance: All items are securely packaged; however, we recommend opting for insured freight. Le Serve is not responsible for damage occurring during third-party transport, but we’ll assist with any claims or issues where possible.
4. Order Processing & Lead Times
Each Le Serve piece is custom made to order.
Production Time: Custom furniture typically takes 3-5 months to complete, depending on design and materials.
Dispatch: You’ll be notified once your order is ready and scheduled for delivery.
5. Delivery Access
Please ensure our team or the external carrier has safe and reasonable access to your property.
Any additional equipment (e.g., cranes, lifts) or special access arrangements are the responsibility of the customer and must be discussed before delivery.
Buildings with stairs, lifts, and multiple levels may incur an additional fee.
6. Missed Deliveries & Redelivery
If no one is available to receive your delivery at the scheduled time:
For local deliveries, a redelivery fee may apply.
For external freight, redelivery terms are subject to the carrier’s policy and charges.
